I Don’t Remember My Times-Tables…
When asked to work with my neighbour, I immediately began to think of things that I couldn’t do and needed help with. My mind constantly kept reminding me of my high school maths class where I was constantly behind everyone else – my creative thoughts left me no room for pythagoras.
I took to the Albert Drive/Shields Road junction armed with a large blackboard and vast amounts of chalk, ready to recall the times-tables that were so swiftly erased from my mind when I was younger. With varying degrees of help from young children to busy adults, I managed to work until my 36 times tables. Thank you for giving me your time and wisdom, I haven’t forgotten -
36 x 1 = 36
36 x 2 = 72
36 x 3 = 108
36 x 4 = 144
36 x 5 = 180
36 x 6 = 216
36 x 7 = 252
36 x 8 = 288
36 x 9 = 324
36 x 10 = 360
